Tournament times starts on the girls side this week as Frenship hosts the annual Tipoff Classic, this year sponsored by Carpet Tech.
The tournament will be held at Frenship’s Tiger Pit beginning today at 10 a.m. when the Tigers host El Paso Irvin. The pool-play tournament runs through Saturday.
Other local teams involved are Levelland, Snyder and Cooper.
Also happening locally are tournaments in Wilson and Spur.
Among city teams, Coronado heads north for a tournament in Canyon while Monterey makes its annual trek to the Metroplex to complete in the Allen Tournament. Trinity Christian is at the Ponder Tournament.
