SEMINOLE — Seminole’s zone defense proved to be too much for Shallowater in the Indians’ 51-46 District 2-3A victory Tuesday night.

Hunter Weishuhn had 14 points to lead the Indians, while teammate Isaac Rangel followed with 13 points.

Shallowater’s lone player in double figures was Micah Bailey with 14.

Shallowater will face Estacado at home at 8 p.m. Friday.

Andrews got 13 points from Corey Duran, 11 from Kyle Buck and 10 from Brice Pace.

Frenship

BURKBURNETT — Brando and Troy Gonzales each had goals, and Frenship outlasted Burkburnett 2-1 on Tuesday.

Troy Gonzales’ goal came on a shot from 45-yards out for the Tigers (4-4-1).

Caleb Cotrhin made 13 saves in goal to pick up the win.

Frenship will be back in action on Tuesday at 7 p.m. at San Angelo Lake View.
