MIDLAND — Lubbock Christian University signee Allison Szabo scored a game-high 22 points and grabbed 10 rebounds to lead the No. 2-ranked Merkel over No. 15 Idalou Friday night in a Region I-2A semifinal at Chaparral Center.

Idalou took a 15-11 halftime advantage as the Lady Badgers had trouble finding offense to go with Szabo’s 10 first-half points.
