Pair of Frenship athletes named to 4A All-State football team
A pair of Frenship Tigers were named to the Texas Sports Writers Association Class 4A All-State football team.

BRYAN — A pair of Frenship Tigers were named to the Texas Sports Writers Association Class 4A All-State football team.
Starting middle linebackers Stephen Smith, a junior, and Colton Estill, a senior, were named to the team, with Smith earning second-team honors and Estill third-team honors.
Smith led the Tigers on defense this season, racking up 181 tackles with two sacks and a pair of interceptions.
Estill was the No. 2 tackler for the District 3-4A champions with 149 while also recording nine sacks and a fumble recovery.
Aledo running back Johnathan Gray and Denton Ryan defensive lineman Mario Edwards were named the Offensive and Defensive Players of the Year, respectively.
