Four area volleyball players named
to all-state team
Four area volleyball players were named to the Texas Girls Coaches Association All-State team.
Coronado placed two on the list in outside hitters Kalani Giddens and Suzzy Dimba. Giddens was the District 2-5A Most Valuable Player while Dimba was the district’s most outstanding hitter.
District 2-3A Most Valuable Player Katy Headrick was also named to the all-state team at the 3A level as well as the district’s Outstanding Defensive Players, Kaleen Sarli.
